ChrisChristopher Gardner is a partner and cofounder of iValue. He is the author of the highly acclaimed book The Valuation of Information Technology: A Guide for Strategy Development, Valuation, and Financial Planning (John Wiley & Sons, 2000). Previously he was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 1999-2002 where he led the Information Technology Strategy Group in the New York office. He was a vice president at Bain & Company from 1996-1997 and worked at A.T. Kearney from 1992-1995, where he was elected principal by the Board of Directors. He began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company as an information technology specialist from 1989-1992. He has served a wide-range of clients in the financial services, media, telecommunications, high technology, and other major industries. They include Amex, AT&T, Baan, Bank America, Goldman-Sachs, Hewlett-Packard, McGraw-Hill, and Skynet.Prior to consulting, he worked in the high technology industry for over 8 years. He joined the Digital Equipment Corporation after graduation, and worked as a manager in the semiconductor, office workstation, and VAX computer system development groups, from 1980 to 1988. With the support of Digital he co-founded The Software Agency in 1984, a company engaged in the business of representing software authors to software publishers. He was educated at the University of Chicago where he received his MBA in Finance in 1980 and a BS in Physics a year earlier in 1979. He spent his summers working at Fermilab and at the Enrico Fermi Institute and is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science. He is developing iGa2, a charitable foundation. RayRay Trotta is a partner and cofounder of iValue a technology valuation firm. He has a unique blend of consulting, academic, and financial services experience. He is the author of "Translating Strategy into Shareholder Value: A Company Wide Approach to Value Creation" (AMACOM 2003) which introduces the Step-Wise Approach to Value (SWAV), a process that provides both financial and other tools for evaluating strategic alternatives. It has received accolades from executives at Sears, McDonalds, and the American Heart Association. He has taught and written courses on information technology valuation nationally. Mr. Trotta speaks frequently on technology and finance topics. He focuses on creating innovative strategy and operations solutions for his client base. Before launching iValue, he was a member of the Financial Services Consulting Practice of KPMG Peat Marwick. His clients include Fortune 200 industrial manufacturers, money center banks, and multinational corporations such as CitiGroup and Siemens Corporation. Mr. Trotta's specialties include technology strategy, merger integration, startup advisory, business process reengineering, activity-based management, and systems assessment. PierrePierre Jean Everaert is a distinguished thought leader and guest lecturer at iValue. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Interbrew a €15B company based in Belgium. He served as Chairman of Baan beginning in 1998 and later as Chairman and interim CEO until its divestiture in 2001. He is the president of E.C. Consulting BV founded in 1996 and Baltic Investment BV founded in 1997. Pierre was Vice Chairman of the Board of Management of Philips Electronics NV in Eindhoven and Chairman of the North American Philips Corporation starting 1992. From 1985 to 1992, he was President and CEO of Koninklijke Ahold NV. He was a Membre du Directoire of Générale Biscuit in 1979 and CEO of General Biscuits of America. Prior to that he served Goodyear International Corporation for fifteen years with his final position in 1978 being Managing Director of Gummiwerke Fulda. At various periods he was a board member of Eurosia, Paribas NV, Scott Paper, Burry Inc., Ezaki-Glico, and several European manufacturers and government associations. A US citizen, born in Belgium, he graduated in industrial engineering from the University of Louvain, Belgium in 1963 and received a Masters Degree in business administration. In 1994 he was awarded an honorary Doctors of Law degree from the University of Rochester. He was named professor at the Universities Gent-Leuven Vlerick School of Business in the fall of 1997. He is a guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School, the University of Michigan, and Cornell University. He co-authored with Prof. C.K.
